Minister R. A. Gilmore, a native of Wake Forest, holds a degree in Religion and Philosophy from Shaw University. Originally licensed as a Christian minister in 2005, he later began a meaningful journey toward the Hebrew faith. As part of this spiritual path, Minister Gilmore studied under the guidance of several esteemed Chabad Rabbis—Rabbi Arron Herman, his brother Rabbi P. Herman, and Rabbi Levi Colter. During this transformative time, he was introduced to the teachings and wisdom of his spiritual mentor, the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson—whom Minister Gilmore encountered in a deeply moving dream. In that dream, the Rebbe gave him a blessing to establish One G-d Ministry of Wake Forest. Today, One G-d Ministry stands as a heartfelt dedication to the Rebbe and to all Rabbis who love Hashem and share the light of the Torah.
